If you want the sound of a riveted cymbal without having to commit to drill holes in it go and get a light ball bead chain from a hardware store.

Fold one end over to make a loop and gaffa tape it together.

Ta-da you have yourself a sizzle cymbal!

Now just hang the loop off your cymbal stand thread.
